Libellarium is published twice a year, in June and December. Final copy dates are end of January for June issue and end of July for December issue. The papers are subject to scientific categorization and the evaluation of two reviewers.

Articles will normally be of 28800 - 57600 characters. Longer articles may be allowed in exceptional cases.

Articles may be submitted either in English or Croatian. Other languages (particularly Italian, French, and German) may be accepted in exceptional cases.

Papers should be submitted electronically via the online submission form or via the e-mail libellarium@unizd.hr. In exceptional cases, editors can also request manuscript in typescript.

As soon as possible authors will be notified about the acceptability of their papers. Editors will not enter into correspondence about papers considered unsuitable for publication.

For further information, please contact the editors.

No Author Fees
Libellarium does not charge any fees to authors to submit or publish articles in our journal.

Layout

Articles should be submitted in MS Word (.doc/.docx) or Open Document (.odt), Times New Roman, 1,5 spaced, with justified margins. Each page should be numbered.

The author's name should appear under the title of the paper, followed by author's e-mail and affiliation (institution and author's present position).

Authors should submit a 150-word abstract that will appear at the head of the text, key words, and a 500-word abstract that will be translated in Croatian or English language and will appear at the end of the text.

For quotations, footnotes and references authors should use Chicago Manual of Style, Author-Date System, available at the web site http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html (choose Author-Date for sample citations). The exceptions are archival sources, which should always be placed in footnotes. References should be placed at the end of the text.

Illustrations (including photos, maps, tables, graphs etc.) should be submitted separately in the form suitable for reproduction. Their place in the text should be marked. Authors must clear all copyright permission.

For more information about style and layout, authors are encouraged to study recent articles from Libellarium.
